Once again broadening my horizons, Aggregator was my first journey into drum and bass. A wide variety of dnb styles are explored here, from the darker, edgy sounds of Pendulum to Digital Soundboy’s jazzy rendition of Smile by Lily Allen. If you’re looking for the dark, killer sounds of more hardcore dnb though, you won’t find it here, as I prefer to keep the mood upbeat throughout.

Starting out mellow with some progressive tracks, Turn of Fortune offers up BT’s classic Somnambulist (Simply Being Loved) before turning to some harder Nu Skool and Electro breaks. The Hotel California rework is not to be missed and by the end of the set Peyote will have your ass dancing in your seat.

Spring Fever is the first demo I ever created. I didn’t have turntables yet, so I just used some gray market DJ software. It was originally intended to be nothing more than a mix CD for a friend. Crude? Unrefined? Primitive? Definitely, but I think I did a pretty good job of putting together an entertaining hour of dance music, at least for a noob.
