It’s a fair bet that no one will ever accuse the Black Eyed Peas of being lyrical geniuses.  Fortunately for them, no one cares.  That’s not their reason for existing.  They put meaningless, sometimes catchy lyrics over phenomenal, ultra-catchy beats that go in your ear and stay inside your head for far longer than is reasonable.

That’s the case with this track too, entitled Imma Be.  Even though Fergie dares to show her face (let’s not forget that she was responsible for “My Humps”, which I consider to be a crime against music), it’s still a pretty catchy track.  Maybe not one of their master works, but I predict it will get huge club play anyway.  Why? Because it’s the Black Eyed Peas.

It’s also a useful DJ tool, as the track transitions from 91 to 121 bpm.
